More reading glasses

Every night Andrew brings home a book from school that he reads out loud to Danny or I. He usually reads to me while Danny reads to Claire. This is a standard scene at our house every night. Lately Grant has been grabbing Andrew's book pages, so I have to try to keep him occupied long enough for Andrew to finish.

One night recently, Claire came out of her room with her books and sat on the couch and said she was ready to read. She has a few books that she likes to have Danny read over and over so she knows the stories quite well. So now she likes to "read" the stories to us. Before she could read though she said that she had to put on her reading glasses. Here is a picture of what she slipped on:

Yep - pink sunglasses from like two years ago. She then proceeded to "read" the Clifford book out loud to Danny. It was all Danny and I could do to not start laughing.

She was quite serious about this and finished one book and moved on to the another. This was the first time she had done this. The other day she asked me where I put her reading glasses. She hasn't worn them again while reading, but I guess she likes to know where they are just in case.
