Grant at 7 months

Last Sunday Grant turned 7 months old. He surprised us by getting us a gift - a tooth. We really weren't expecting it, but he got really fussy and was crying a lot on Sunday night - in the middle of the night of course! And then I felt the little nub starting to come through. Here are some pictures I tried to take of him this week:

He kept grabbing the sign, so Andrew is holding it just over his head...

and like everything else it goes straight to his mouth.

This is a typical scene around here. First of all, Claire is dressed up in her Aerial costume and she is playing with Grant. She is usually about 1 centimeter from his face showing him toys and talking to him. He loves to watch the kids around him. The trick is to get Claire to stop taking his toys so that she can play with them.

This is a fun toy that we got with Claire. It has music and lights that Grant loves.

Such a sweet little boy.

What?? A picture with me? He is propped against the inside of the sofa watching Andrew and Claire outside. In other news, Grant is really trying to get the hang of rolling over. If you give him some type of incentive like a fun toy he will try to reach for it and sometimes end up rolling over in the process. He is still loving his baby food and can easily eat a container at each meal.
