Easter couldn't come soon enough for Andrew and Claire. They were so excited that they woke up before 7:00 am and excitedly informed us at the side of our bed that the Easter bunny had come! We were not ready to get up so we said to wait for half an hour, but that proved to be too difficult.
Soon they were showing us what they got in their baskets while we were still in bed. So, this picture was taken after they had destroyed their baskets. They each got a new outfit and some toys.
They think the best part about Easter is the egg hunt, so we had to hop to it. Since it was a bit cold outside Claire insisted on putting on her jacket and hood.
Lots of running around the yard and in the house looking for eggs.

Meanwhile, Grant was playing with his toys inside. He also got an outfit, but no candy.
The next best thing to the egg hunt is opening up all of the eggs. Luckily the Easter bunny also brings quarters, so they each brought out their banks for the money.
The end result after everything was opened.
Later in the afternoon we went to my parents house and guess what? More baskets! The Easter bunny rang the door bell and left us all treats!!
