This is a collection of pictures that are not of a specific category, but they are still important (or just plain cute). These are all from spring 2015. First up, is how Grant plays with his toys - all at the same time!
Claire and I went to Orchard Supply one Saturday and there were two Lamborghini's parked out front. Nice outfit, right?
Pre-baseball and softball practice in the front yard. They all took turns, even Andrew. Luckily, we were using wiffle balls. Andrew even played catcher as a back for me so that I could take some pictures.
This was a clay creation that Andrew made at scouts.
We were looking for some new furniture and Claire and Grant loved this fuzzy sofa. Can you imagine if you spilled something on it?
Claire had a Brownie field trip to the Tech Museum where they did a special class for the girls about science. They even got to wear goggles.
They also made slime.
I had a meeting in SF one day and took this picture of the Bay Bridge. I love it!
Claire getting ready to sell Girl Scout cookies.
Andrew's solar system project. It is hard to tell, but we got a board and drilled small holes in it and then supported the planets with skewers. The hardest part was making the planets out of paper mache. It is really hard to get them round.
Claire went to a birthday party that was a cooking class. She got to decorate her own hat.
Claire also had a field trip to a pottery studio and they got to make something.
Claire's class performed in their spring concert and sang two songs. She is in the second row third from the left.
We took the kids to see the Avengers Live at the Arena. Grant is showing off his candy blue tongue.
Grant and Jayden enjoying an Otter Pop on a hot day after riding bikes.
Claire doesn't usually want her hair brushed or dried. So imagine my surprise when I found Danny in the bathroom doing both!
Planting Impatiens for spring.
Claire wanted to see how green her eyes were one day while we were at lunch. So I took a picture to show her.
A doll picnic in the front yard.
As my parents were cleaning out the garage, there was suddenly more space. The kids set up a store to sell things to each other.
Claire's class also performed at the multi-cultural celebration at the school. She is right in the middle with a white shirt on looking to the right.
Grant sleeps with piles of books (Star Wars, of course!) and stuffed animals.
We did a community service day at a local park. We were filling gopher holes. I couldn't believe how many there were. We probably didn't make a dent. From the left: Nolan, Grant, Jaylin, Zach, and Andrew.
Claire at the walk-a-thon at school. I didn't get any pictures of Andrew because I was punching their lap tickets when his class was walking.
Claire and her friend Malaina.
Grant was using his blankets to cross the "hot lava".
Andrew and his science project. He had learned at scouts that if you bring a cotton ball with Vaseline on it you can use it to help start a campfire. So he decided to test other creams like Neosporin to see if any of them worked better or similar. The Vaseline was still the winner.
Andrew chose to go to Chili's for his birthday dinner. Luckily he share his ice cream.
This is the Living Room fully loaded with my parents things ready to be loaded into the trailers.
And the driveway full of stuff.
And they filled these two trailers to the max. They even had to leave some stuff behind.
They got a forklift which Claire and Grant didn't drive, but they did pretend a lot.
Claire with her 2nd grade teacher Miss Maragoni. Claire loved this year. Her teacher was a first year and was just so fun.
And finally, it was warm enough to swim at the pool on the weekends!
