Horseback riding

After we got back from river rafting we played around a bit at the house and then we had to get back to the stable for our re-scheduled horse backing riding adventure.  We went with Natalie and her kids (without Mateo) and Erik and Lisa and her kids. We had really great weather and even though we brought jackets, we didn't need them.  Grant was too little to ride his own horse, so he doubled up with Danny.

Claire was scared at first, but she soon got the hang of it.  She thought it was funny that her horse was named Linda.

We went on a 2 hour ride that took us up into the forest.

The horses kept changing positions because every once in a while they would all try to get some grass when they weren't supposed to.

A family picture at the top of the mountain.

See all the horses that are eating grass?  They aren't supposed to be doing that and the little kids had a hard time at first pulling their heads up to get them to stop.

Everyone had a great time and I think that only the adults were sore.

They had a wax bullet shooting game that Danny and Andrew played after we rode.

Meanwhile, Grant couldn't resist playing in the dirt while we waited.
