Last spring Andrew was very excited about signing up for soccer. To him it was the first in a long line of sports that he wants to try - baseball is next. The others like golf and tennis may have to wait a bit. But when it came time for practice this week he was hesitant to go saying that he was nervous. We thought that when he saw the new gear that his nervousness would change to excitement, but it didn't. And then after the first practice, he saw how fun it could be. I took these pictures on Friday at the second practice.
The coach had them sit on the ground and say their names and say what their favorite part of playing soccer was.

He loves his team now and they decided on a team name - The Penguins. He doesn't have a game for a couple of weeks, but he keeps asking me how many more days until practice.
