A day in Provo

We wanted to take Dorothy to lunch in Provo, but we figured that the kids may not be great at a restaurant, so we decided to get sandwiches and go to a park. It turned out to be a great decision.  We picked South Fork park at random and it was wonderful.  There was a stream that the kids could have played in all day.  The water was snow melt cold, but they didn't seem to care.  It was hard for the adults to stand in the water but I think the kids went numb after a while.

Sticks + rocks + water = lots of fun

They, of course, got really wet even though we told them not to.

They will never all look at the camera at the same time.

The water was crystal clear.

The kids were hot after the park so we decided to go to the Creamery at BYU.  However, Grant got really car sick on the way down the canyon.  I sent Danny in to get the ice cream while I cleaned up the car.  Danny didn't want to wait in line for the scooped ice cream, so he just bought a half gallon.

Danny took Grant home and the rest of us stayed and went to the Bean Museum at BYU.  It was a really cool and free!  It has a lot of animals and information about them.

Then we got to some more interesting displays where they had animals posed in all sorts of real life situations like the one below.  We told the girls to pose like this, but this was just the tip of the ice berg.  I am not sure why they just couldn't be stuffed while standing normally.

We briefly walked through the art museum but as you can see from the second picture they weren't very into it.

And finally, a picture with Brigham Young.  We had another great day in Utah!
