Preschool Halloween Party

Grant's preschool had a Halloween parade and party right before Halloween.  The kids walked around the block to the house of someone that the director knows.  They all got a piece of candy.

All of the parents tried hard to get the kids lined up for a picture.  Grant is on the top row next to his friend Jayden.

We went back to the school and they broke the kids up into groups.  The first station was to make a treat that looked like a candy corn.  It was pineapple, oranges and whipped cream with a candy corn on the top.

Next, they put marbles into black paint and then rolled them around on orange paper.  It made cool lines like spider webs.  At the end they glued a plastic spider on the web.

At the math station they had to guess how many candy corns were in the jars and which jar they thought had the most candy corns.

Then it was pinata time.  I don't think anyone ever broke this one, it was pretty solid.

Grant and his friend Jayden were both Spiderman.

Their favorite station was the one where they did an experiment.  They put food coloring, vinegar and baking soda into a cup and watch it bubble up and over the cup.  Since this was their last station Miss Becky let them do it a few times.  They loved this.  Grant is really loving his preschool and his new friends.
