Easter

This year Easter got sandwiched between Claire's birthday and spring break week.  We had every intention of dying eggs, we even bought the eggs, but we ran out of time.  Ryan and his family came for Easter so we spent time with them along with soccer and softball games.  Easter morning the kids woke up to find Easter baskets.  We had time to a quick egg hunt before church inside the house.

Claire showing off a new book.

Let the hunt begin!

Checking out the bounty.  Claire lucked out and got most of the ones that had money in them.

We went with a yellow theme this year for Easter.

I didn't realize that Danny had decided to also wear a yellow tie, so the kids were distraught when I came out wearing something that wasn't yellow.  So I changed so that we could be matching.

During church the Easter bunny came to our house and hid eggs in the backyard.  We gave Grant a head start and everyone a 12 egg limit.

I am not sure why Andrew is hunting with a bat.

A group picture after the hunt.  I like how Landon already had his church shirt off before they got to our house.  Some of the candy was a bit melted but the kids didn't care.  We had a great Easter dinner, but no deviled eggs this year due to the lack of Easter eggs.  As always, the kids had a great time with their cousins. We were leaving the next day for our big Disneyland trip.
