Spring arrived a couple of weeks ago and we love it! The first thing on the agenda was to get some new flowers for the back yard. Claire and I went to pick them out. She decided that in addition to the pink flowers that I had picked out she wanted some yellow ones. We also decided to try some strawberries. Claire has loved checking them out. We have a few little green ones starting to grow.
Landon and Ryan came for a visit and Andrew got Landon to practice some baseball. Landon even got to try on the catcher's gear.
Grant wanted to try hitting. He didn't manage to hit a ball, but he wanted to try over and over.
We have a small basketball hoop in our backyard that we got when Andrew was around 3. With his new found love of basketball, he has been out there practicing.
Every night there is rush to see who can water the flowers first. Grant and Claire have a hard time sharing this task. Most of the time someone ends up all wet. The next task will be to get some sand for the sand box. Grant loves the one at his daycare, but ours is currently empty.
