Two weeks of memorable moments

I didn't post any pictures last week, so here are two weeks worth.  Jumping off the sofa onto the cushions is a past time over here.  It seems that any free moment, even when that moment is minutes before school starts, is filled with jumping.   As I am sure you can imagine, it often ends with crying.  Either someone has jumped on someone else or someone isn't getting enough turns.

Just like Danny, Andrew loves to read the weather in the paper.  He likes to see what the high and low spots were in the US.  He also looks at the weather where family members live, like Austin, TX.  He does this almost daily.

We made pizzas one night and Andrew and Claire like to help with the toppings.  Grant wanted to help as well and did so by putting the entire can of sliced olives on the pizza.  He and Claire love olives!

One night, Grant wanted to snuggle with Claire in her bed.  He didn't want to get out when it was time for her to go to bed.  It took some parental assistance to get him out.

Claire was sick the week before last and had slept late on a Saturday morning.  Danny folded her laundry and had put it in a basket so that we could put it away when she woke up.  Well, that was too tempting for Grant.  He took out the clothes and threw them on the floor and proceeded to run around in a circle on top of them.  He thought this was very, very fun.  You can see Claire in the background on the sofa not feeling well.

Last Friday night, Andrew's primary teacher took his class to Chuck E. Cheese.  They were all so excited.  Tyler, the boy on the right, had never been there before, so it was fun to see how happy he was.  Of course, they all had a wonderful time and cleaned up on tickets and prizes.  Picture courtesy of Britney, who always remembers to take pictures.
Saturday was spent getting long overdue haircuts for everyone except Danny.  Grant's hair was quite unruly and needed to be cut.  He cried at first, but was quickly okay when he got a sucker.

Claire surprised us all by asking for a haircut.  She got about 1.5" cut off.

Not a great picture with the sucker in her mouth, but she loves her haircut.

So much better for Grant!

Now that baseball has started, Andrew and Danny have been spending a lot of time not only at practice, but in the backyard.  Andrew really likes to play catch with all of the catcher's gear on.  He doesn't usually play catcher in the game, but at home he likes to wear it.
