Last Friday night was cub scout pack meeting. It was the blue and gold dinner where it is a tradition for the cub scouts to make a cake with their dad. Andrew really wanted to do this. We ran out of time to come up with a creative cake, so he decided so show is creativity with icing. They made a chocolate bundt cake together on Thursday night. Andrew then decorated it on Friday night before we left.
He got the award for the best use of scout colors. He did this all himself!
Andrew had earned some awards and he was excited to finally get them. They didn't get awards in January because of the pinewood derby.
He got his wolf badge, two silver arrows and one gold arrow.
We are really proud of Andrew for getting these awards, as he has worked really hard on them. He loves to learn new things and that is one of the great things about scouting - always being able to learn new things. Now on to the bear!
