Halloween fun

Finally Halloween was here! Andrew and Claire have been really busy this season with Halloween activities. First there was a party for the play group at Britney's house on Thursday.  She took the following pictures.  First, Andrew and his friend Max.  They have great fun together.  As you can see Andrew was Thor this year.

There were a lot of kids there, but Britney had game stations so the kids all got to eat first and then play various games.

Then on Saturday night we had the Fall Festival at church.  There were more games, dinner and trunk or treating.  No pictures from that - sorry.

Yesterday morning Andrew had a parade at school.  All of the classes walked all the way around the school so that everyone could see their costumes.

Claire's preschool also had a parade and trunk or treat.

The sun was in their eyes, so it was hard to get a picture of all of them smiling.

Then onto the big night of trick or treating.  I really, really tried to get Grant to sit still for a picture, but no luck.

I made Claire's yarn braid.  It was truly a tangled mess trying to get it done, but I thought it looked cute.  After a while she took it off because it was too heavy.

Andrew chose Thor this year.  I almost got him to be an FBI agent, but the lure of a super hero was just too strong.

Grant was a mummy.  It is hard to tell, but I sewed gauze to the front of a onesie and glued it onto the legs.

The kids had a great time trick or treating while Grant and I stayed home to hand out candy.   Maybe next year Grant can go out.  Needless to say there is a lot of candy around here that quickly needs to find a new home!
