We didn't take very man pictures this day - lucky for you! Grant fell in love with Rose's cat Jasmine. Her bed is on top of the washer, so we had to spend a lot of time going to see her. He still asks about her.
Our next stop was to look at the model home for the style house that my parent's are building. We took the kids for a tour and they loved it. I loved the huge basement where all of the toys could live. And no, I didn't take this picture, it is from the builder's website. I didn't take many pictures inside mostly because I was trying to keep track of the kids and to tell them to stop running around.
I tried to get them to pose out front.
This is a picture of the kitchen and the family room. My mom has made a few (ha!) changes, and she is putting the dining room table where this sofa is currently.
Our next stop was right in the neighborhood which is pretty cool - the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It is really close to my parent's new house. This temple was completed in 2009.
We drove about 15 minutes down the freeway to see our good friends the Ericksen's who moved to Utah in April. We really miss them because our kids are all the same ages. We went to lunch and spent some time at their house and then went to their pool club. It was hot (do you see a trend on this trip?) so it felt nice to get at least partially wet.
When it was time to leave the kids didn't want to go, so we went to Max's soccer game. Britney had to bring snacks for the game and it was hard to keep everyone else from eating them.
Then we came back and had pizza and more play time. We got one picture of them together on the stairs just before we left. It was so nice to see them and catch up. My kids wanted to go back the next day and the next day. We miss you!
