Back in December for Danny's birthday I got him some tickets to the Sharks game. We enjoyed a dinner out and the game. Andrew really wanted to go to a game as well, so asked a friend of mine who has season tickets if it would be possible to get tickets to a weekend game sometime. Luckily he said yes and we got 4 tickets to the game last Saturday night. Grant got to stay home with Grandma and Grandpa. We weren't sure about bringing Claire along too, but she was excited about the possibility that we decided to try it out. We ate dinner just before the game in the hopes that we wouldn't have to purchase food at the arena, but we were wrong. We saw an old friend of mine there, who gladly took our picture. It was fun to catch up with her.
Claire said she was hungry halfway into the first period, but luckily we had brought a few snacks. After they ate through those we ended up getting a small pizza for them and that seemed to do the trick. It ended up being a really good game where it went into OT and then shoot outs.
Claire wanted to wear her cute scarf because we told her that it was going to be cold inside.
Of course, there were lots of pictures taken on my phone by Claire. Neither of them complained about how long the game was and they loved cheering when the Sharks scored. Now Claire wants a sharkie stuffed animal that she saw in the arms of another little girl.

Looks VERY fun! I'm glad to know that Claire like it...we've been wondering if we should take Ava. Dave wants to take Max...
Hope you're feeling better!
