Our new van

We finally did it - we bought a minivan. After much research and agonizing over new car payments we bit the bullet and got a Honda Odyssey. Although, I am excited to have a bigger car that we can all actually fit inside, the thought of driving it every day made me nervous. My biggest fear was parking lots. When I was 16, just a month after getting my drivers license, I hit a parked car while trying to back out of a parking space. And that was driving a small four door car!
We have had the car for two weeks now and I have successfully taken it to Costco and the mall without any issues so far. The kids love having a van because they like being up higher and the sliding doors. They are excited to use the dvd player on a future trip. If it was up to them they would use it when we drive around the corner. Everyone tells me that it will get easier to drive and I hope they are right. So watch out on the roads everyone!
