A new driver in town

Claire has just become interested in driving Andrew's jeep. It is pretty much too big for him, but he still likes to try and drive it. One afternoon Claire decided it was time to finally get driving lessons.

Everything started out great - with safety first. The princess helmet is appropriate to wear anytime you are playing outside. She drove the jeep down past our neighbor's house with no trouble.


The trouble came when it was time to turn around. She could not understand that turning around could be done while still in the jeep. Every time it was time to make a turn, she got out and proceeded to pull the jeep around with her hands. This was not very effective and she needed help doing this. Danny tried and tried to show her how to use the steering wheel, but no luck. Incidentally, note the footwear on Claire. In case you were wondering, yes, it is okay to wear your church shoes outside to drive the jeep, ride a bike, or play in the sandbox. They are her "go to" shoes for any occasion.

Back on track her she is concentrating on driving straight - straight over the neighbor's lawn that is.
