The first T-ball game

Andrew had his first T-ball game on March 20th. He was very excited to put all of his new skills to use.

As you can see, he is on the Red Sox. The highlight of the uniform is either the fact that his name is on the back of his shirt OR the new cleats.

Fielding the balls is hard for 5 year olds. They try really hard, but they miss a lot. They get to move around to different positions during the game. Even though they don't actually pitch the ball, he likes to play "pitcher" because he gets to field a lot of balls.

The goal is to be able to hit a coach pitched ball soon.

It seems like the whole team watches the ball they just hit in amazement rather than running to first base. The coach has to remind them to run every time. They don't keep score in T-ball because they are just learning. So far, Andrew is having fun.
