Here are a bunch of random pictures from the summer that didn't really fit into their own category. This picture is of the kids actually doing a quiet Sunday activity of painting various wood items.
Making on of our favorite items - strawberry freezer jam. Andrew and Claire really got into helping.
They made these horses from pool noodles at Grant's preschool. He named his Speedy. He played with it a lot over the summer.
I took these two to Lowes with me to get some paint and they found some painters hats and somehow had my camera to take a selfie.
Andrew and Claire flew back to Salt Lake City on their own! They were a bit nervous, but we waited on this end for them to leave and then my parents were able to meet them at the gate in SLC. They did lots of fun stuff with Natalie's kids including watching a ski exposition in Park City.
Landed safely in Salt Lake.
Meanwhile, Grant had lots of playdates with his BFF Jayden. We even took them to dinner at the mall.
Snuggle time with Grant while Andrew and Claire were gone.
But that only lasted so long as he was bored with just us.
But soon they were home and loved flying to Utah. Much better than driving.
For Claire's 8th birthday we got her Taylor Swift tickets. The concert was finally in August and Claire was so excited. She loved it! She sang a lot of her popular songs as well as those on her new album.
The fireworks at Great America went off during the show.
We had to go to Pottery Barn Kids at Stanford Mall to get Grant's new Star Wars lunch box, so that also meant a stop in at American Girl.
Danny's sister Keri and her fiance stopped by while they were in town and let the kids sit on their motorcycle.
We dusted off the Easy Bake Oven and Claire made some treats.
