The soccer season ended in early November. It seemed to end just as Claire was starting to like it. She really did not like most of the season because she said it was too hot to run around. It was quite warm on a few occasions and they only had one 9:00 am game. Overall, I would say that she had fun but it probably wasn't her favorite thing. She really wants to do gymnastics in January, so we are going to try that for a while. But for now, a review of the season. Claire and Elaina were on the Quicksilvers. I felt sorry for the coach, but it was like trying to herd cats sometimes.
This was Claire's favorite position during most of the season - on the sidelines drinking water. She was the first one to raise her hand to go out during the throw ins.
There was also a lot of "other" activities when the game was being played. Perhaps they are pretending to fly?

She was very excited about the awards dinner. We had it at a pizza place and she could not wait to see her trophy. The logo on it spins!! Very exciting for a 5 year old. The coach said nice things about all of the kids. He said that Claire and Elaina were inseparable at times and that he had a hard time telling them apart. Really?
The team mom got them all T shirts with their names on the back. This was also very exciting. Claire goes back and forth as to whether she wants to play again. Some days she does and some she doesn't. I hope she does because I think she would like it.
