I took Grant to the doctor for his 21-24 month checkup a week ago. He was fine until the doctor came into the room. Then he started to cry, but luckily it was short lived. He weighs 29 lbs, 14 oz (82nd percentile) and is 3'-3/4" tall (99th percentile). Here are some fun things that Grant has been up to:
1. Thomas the train. He loves Thomas now! One night he lined up his trains in this row. Luckily we saved these from when Andrew was this age. His favorite train is Toby. He pronounces it Bowby (with a long O).
He was very excited to have done this. He really likes to try to build a track and line up all of his trains on the tracks. He gets frustrated though when they don't all stay together.
Here he is playing with his trains on the Little People cars set.
Who me? I didn't do this!
In this picture he dumped out all of the goldfish crackers onto the floor. He thought this was quite funny. Luckily he had his vacuum nearby to help clean up.
3. Sharing food. He thinks that whenever someone in the house has food, he must have a sample. He has super sonic hearing for food being unwrapped and always comes running.
He also has quite a fondness for corn. He thinks he is a big boy and loves to eat it off the ear.
4. Playing outside. Grant would be outside 24 hours a day if we let him. He loves to play with the cars or bikes or especially the water. When we water the plants he likes to fill his pail with water and help as well.
5. At night when Danny and I are putting Andrew and Claire to bed, he likes to watch his Thomas show. He gets a blanket and yells "Choo - Choo" until we turn it on for him.
It is fun to see him try and keep up with Andrew and Claire. He wants to do the things that they do. He thinks most things are funny especially those things that he shouldn't be doing.
