Saturday park fun

Last Saturday Natalie and I both found ourselves husband-less. Danny was golfing and Pete was out of town so we decided to take the kids to the park to get some energy out. We hadn't been to Oakmeadow Park for a while, so we headed over there. This park has several different things to do so the kids had a hard time deciding where to start. There is an old airplane that kids can sit in and walk on.Loaded up to fly away!

Here is a picture taken on the wing - getting them all to look at the same time is impossible!
Once Claire and Andrew saw this climbing wall they were all over it. I was really surprised that Claire was climbing up it without hesitation.
Also without hesitation Claire and Elaina climbed on the play structure. They have never been this adventurous before.
We had a little mini picnic before the "best" part of the park. I brought a bag of popcorn and they couldn't have been more thrilled. I happened to have it left over from the Friday night movie the night before. Grant was quite interested in the grass.
Once again, my kids don't know how to pose for a group shot.
Here is Grant showing off sitting up skills. He does this really well and doesn't think it necessary to move onto other skills like rolling over yet.
The "best" part of this park is that it has a merry go round and a train. I found that it is really hard to take a picture of a moving carousel especially while holding a baby. No pictures from the train, but while we were on it, the flower Claire's hair blew out and we had to go back and get it. Natalie risked her life, or so the kids thought, to go out next to the track to get it. Claire was quite happy to have it back. We ended the outing with lunch at Taco Bell. Yeah, I suppose that we could have made a fabulous picnic lunch, but I'm not that together.
