My friend Sara was taking her kids to the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose on Friday so Natalie and I decided to go as well. This was the first time for Claire and Elaina and Andrew hasn't been for a couple of years.

Elaina took to the activities really fast. Meanwhile, Claire spent the first hour clinging for life to me. Once she saw how fun the
activities were she was willing to try them out. They had great fun throwing the balls in this funnel. They thought that it was really fun to throw them in and then get them out of the bottom and do it all over again.

The the Curious George exhibit, Elaina and Andrew were off exploring the
activities while Claire became obsessed with this cash register. She sorted the money and put it in and out for 15 minutes.

The three
kids all served me a nice lunch with the plastic food. They even gave me plates and cups.

We saved the best for last - the water area. Andrew and Elaina ran right in while Claire was cautious. They love all of the balls and shooting water, and even though they wore smocks most of the time, they still got wet. Andrew would gladly spend the whole time in this area. We ended up staying 4 hours! Sara suggested that we put the money we paid for admission towards a season pass, so we did. Now we can go back for a whole year, which will be great since it isn't too far from our house.

So glad you came! It was good to finally meet Natalie also. I just got my sister in law to buddy up with me on my renewal next month, so we will have to go play again soon.
